Scheduled to pickup in hudson Florida on the 25th or 26th of September going to aurora Colorado never received a scheduling call. I call them and they gave me the drivers cell phone number called him and he told me pickup in hudson on September 26th in the afternoon between 2 and 5. Never showed up never called, called company was put in touch with Ron the dispatcher and he said the truck was delayed and would call me in 30 minutes. He never called. It is know 9:48 no show no call. I understand unforeseen events occur but there is no excuse for zero communication. I have no faith in this company and will not trust them. I am a realtor and will get the word out to stay away from this company. I should have paid attention to the numerous bad reviews
I am missing my stuff and i was misled with the insurance. Now i won't be getting my stuff back and nothing will happen as recourse for the company. Don't trust these guys. They will promise you that they will have your stuff shipped out quickly, but that won't happen and you will be stuck waiting for them too deliver your stuff (their contract says 21 business days). Overall they are relatively hard to contact in regards to their delivery timings. if i could give 0 stars i would
Absolutely the worst movers we’ve ever used
Absolutely the worst movers we’ve ever used. They gave us an initial quote of $10,000 to move us from Florida to Nevada, however, no one ever came to the house to actually assess what was to be moved in order to give an accurate quote. The day before delivery, I was told they underestimated what we owned and it would cost an additional $9,000. They blamed it all on my husband - said he didn’t tell them everything - but again they made no effort to come look for themselves. Then, they couldn’t get everything on one moving van and had to divide the shipment. On arrival with the first load, a number of boxes were soaked because they didn’t have the intelligence to empty a water dispenser and it leaked all over the place. They took apart furniture that no other mover has ever taken apart before; I can’t find the doors/screws. I have several tables that have glass tops - no clue where the glass tops are. Can’t find a number of other things - which were very valuable sentimentally. After the first load was delivered, I could not get a delivery date for the second load. Just kept saying when we have a full load to the west coast. Then on July 3rd, I get a text message they’ll be there between 5 and 7 o’clock. I leave work early and they never showed up - found out later they were in Arizona, 100s of miles away. Then they said they wouldn’t work on the 4th, so we didn’t get our things until the 6th. It’s no use calling these people - they yell and cuss at you, threaten you - it was a nightmare. They get your phone number from caller ID, then don’t answer the phone. Somehow their personal names also change from one call to another. In reading other reviews, I’m not the first customer they quoted a price then raised it - and hold your belongings hostage before they’ll unload the truck. After all this, they actually asked us to give the movers a tip each. And you ought to see how they stacked things in the garage - I’m afraid to move anything because it will likely be the domino effect - one thing after another will begin falling. I would file a claim or take other action, but I’m scared of these people. Do what you want, but I’m cautioning you about all the problems and scare tactics I encountered so you don’t experience the same thing. (After I post this, I have no doubt I will be threatened.)
This was the first time we had a big move and didn't know where to start. Once I found Sunrise Van Lines they made our move from Florida to Wisconsin easy and carefree. Pick up and delivery times were accurate. We did have some minor damage but everything was resolved.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! They have the worst customer service - do not return phone calls or emails. Do not answer their phones. Chris, the sales rep, gave me a quote, a contract and timeframe for a partial move. Other employees in the company called him a big, fat liar! Then they proceeded to hold my shipment and instead of delivering in 4-7 days quoted by Chris, or the 21 days they guaranteed, they took 36 days! This was for my 82 and 84 year old parents who moved into memory care across the country. No personal photos or art on their walls to make the transition smooth for them. Very stressful and lots of unnecessary anxiety for my elderly parents. The staff mislead me throughout the process and were very rude. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. i would give Zero stars, but the system won't let me.

Ron (one of the owners) doesn’t understand why customers want to know where their goods are. Oftentimes I was pushed to an answering machine for a person that isn’t working at the company. Chris the sales person even blocked my phone number.
We had to call from a different number, acting as a new customer in order to reach someone.
I gave two weeks to deliver the goods. It took them three weeks total.
Only two days before I got the information when the goods are delivered, but from the driver himself
No one at the company contacted me or followed-up. Sunrise doesn’t seem to care
Never have we received any e-mail response to anyone in the company after the goods have been picked-up till we threatened with legal action
BE CAREFUL ABOUT THEIR LABELING TRICKS. Jack (Ron’s partner) skipped labels in his own system. I only noticed it when unpacking that his numbers weren’t in sequence. They overcharged me for several boxes that didn’t exist.
I sent a picture of a very long item to Chris, the sales person to have it included in the initial offer. They day of the move they charged another 200 USD arguing they need to buy additional space in the truck, although it can lay on top of all items. The truck driver delivering the goods told me he never saw a single cent.
If a company needs a fraud their customers to make profit, they should not be in business
We were sold on perfect visibility knowing where the goods are at all times.
We never got a response where they stored our goods.
Chris promised to provide us with the driver’s cell no. when the goods get picked up.
We had to threaten Sunrise with legal action just to receive the number over the phone and again being yelled at by Ron.

Excellent... Arrived on time, worked efficiently & carefully. Very Happy!!!! The overall experience was terrific. The gentlemen who delivered the furniture etc. were professional. courteous and very respectful of our things. I can't say enough good things about the time, care and patience they took with our delivery. I would strongly recommend financial raises for all three.
