The crew who came to get my stuff was 2 days late and I ended up moving everything out of our house and braking it down for them dispute them telling me to leave it alone and the movers would do it. I found out that the next day one of the people that was on the pick up crew stole a fully loaded truck and took off. They showed up with a truck way to small and forced us to sell or give away about a quarter of our stuff because all 4 times I tried updating my order a month prior to pick up they told me they would do it in the quality assurance check. Yeah that check didn't happen. Now I'm still currently waiting on my stuff to get delivered though I followed their instructions of calling 4 days in advance. Oh and they packed my box spring to my bed but couldn't fit the mattress so... there is that.
I would not recommend this company
I would not recommend this company. The charged $500.00 more to my credit card then they quoted. I have spoken to Mark Multiple times, and he has told me that he would correct it. He said the check was in them mail for the refund, but it never arrived. That was two weeks ago. He then said he would wire it to me though Wal-Mart; this never happened either. If you are going to deal with this company, please only use cash. I am still in the process of trying to get this money refunded to my credit card. Please use caution.
Texas Top Movers
First thing to do when thinking about using Texas Top Movers, Google Texas top movers reviews and check out all the different reviews about them. Check out the Better Business Bureau's F rating. Then find another company to mover your stuff. When I applied on their page I just listed basic items just to get an estimate, like I did with other companies. So it begins.
Salesman Raymond and I agree on price, I explain there are more items that I didn't list and went over them. He says that's fine. Date for pickup is set.
My job keeps me away from home so when I was off sooner than pickup date, I call trying to get in touch with Raymond. Spoke with Tiffany in customer service who says she will contact him. 3 separate times I call and send emails but no Raymond. Tiffany moves up pick up date.
When movers arrive everything ready, I will turn over apartment keys when they leave. However Raymond never added my extra items and the mover charges me for them or jobs canceled. Price had gone up from $1500 to $2200 and they will not be bringing my things the next day. Raymond seems to have forgotten to inform me they hold your things till they can fill up a 18 wheeler to bring. Keep calling Tiffany for a delivery date, which turned out to be two weeks later. I have to leave for work and won't be around for delivery, my brother will handle it. I get confirmation from Tiffany that I can pay with a credit card to her and not have to have cash for the drivers. However, I see on their manifest they are charging me for items that were not on the truck. I ask Tiffany about this and she says they will take care of it and adjust the price. I finally receive an email from Raymond saying we will have to discuss price adjustment with Tiffany. He says I will call you shortly, Never received a call. He also throws Tiffany under the bus and says he never received any messages from her. Two days later the driver calls and say they will be delivering the next morning and need the cash. I explain what Tiffany told me about paying with credit card. Driver says they can't accept credit card and if we don't have the money, they will have to continue on to the other deliveries. He says he is in contact with his dispatch and they say only cash. I ask to speak with his dispatch but unfortunately he is out of the country.( Yes, the guy actually told me that)Pretty much pay up with cash or we keep your things and charge you storage fees. Started calling customer service at 2pm till 5pm to speak with Tiffany and no one answered. No return calls either. So we ended up paying with cash for some things that were not on the truck. The drivers also left all the trash from unwrapping on the ground. Jumped in their truck and left my brother to Clean up their mess. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Refer back to beginning paragraph and go with another company
