The movers who were sent out destroyed one of my items. I was offered compensation less than 1/8th of what the item is worth or none at all. The movers destroyed a $470.00 oversized bean bag(brand: Sumo, model: Titanium) when attempting to move it down stairs. They did not wrap it in cellophane of a moving blanket as they did other items. They attempted to throw it off a second story balcony in order to circumvent carrying it downstairs. The cover ripped as they were hoisting it over the side and the foam inside spilled out everywhere. They didn't even clean all of it up! The movers assured me I would be compensated for the damage to my property. The item is ruined and unusable so I wanted full compensation. They took the item with them after the move and said they would be in contact. I waited a week and had no response form them so I called them and at first they told me that since the item did not have a cover on it that they would not be compensating me. I told them that was unacce
