24 Hour Disaster

I hired Smith moving to finish packing my home and move my possessions into storage (local self-store). Truck and two movers arrived at 8:30 am.%0d%0a%0d%0aAround 4 pm, I began questioning how long it was going to take. I was told, only a couple more hours... Around 10 pm, I was assured it would be done by midnight... at midnight, it was by 3... they, FINALLY completed at 7am... TWENTY-TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!%0d%0aAt 9:30 that morning, I received a call from Dennis Smith, the owner. He wanted to make arrangements to come over and pick up the check for the balance of $2700. I agreed to meet with him that evening. %0d%0a%0d%0aWhen we met, the bill had grown to $2750. I questioned him about an "Atomic Beam" lantern that his crew had borrowed. He said he may have seen it on the truck. %0d%0aSmith, actually, questioned why I hadn't called him, AFTER, I tolde him that his crew kept pushing back the finish time, by a couple of hours.%0d%0a%0d%0aAfter discovering his crew had, also, failed to return a new Tape gun dispenser, I sent him an email requesting a credit for the two items. (Total was around $30).%0d%0a%0d%0aDennis has failed to credit my account for this miniscule amount, I can, only conclude that he intends to keep the property his crew, inadvertently, failed to return. %0d%0a%0d%0aWe call that stealing, where I grew up.%0d%0a%0d%0aDo NOT deal with this person
