Professional movers

My overall experience was very positive. The customer support was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The movers were attentive to my needs, quick and professional. None of my belongings were broken or scratched. Great job! Thanks!

Service unacceptable

The service unacceptable, and my experience with the “White Knights” moving company was awful.
First, the movers showed up and offered me a higher hourly rate ($140 instead of $105), explaining that it was going to be 3 movers instead of 2, and the process will be faster. Thus, I would save my money. I had agreed to it. Then, it turned out the movers were very unprofessional; they disappeared to smoke cigarettes; they did not have tools to disassemble my furniture and did not quite had an idea how to do it, and they were moving in a very slow pace like they did not care. I called the office to complain and was transferred to a manager. The manager did not even to listen and was very rude and did not even try to address the issue.
As a result, the moving process took so long, and it was not time efficient. When all my staff was inside the track, and we were going to proceed to the new address, one of the guys told me that I have to pay cash upfront or money order (even though when I ordered the service, I was told that a personal check would be ok). Then, I said ok and asked how much? I was in complete shock when the initially quoted amount was not even tripled but went up four times. The quote that was given to me (and it was confirmed a couple times) was $345, and movers asked me $1,100. I replied that I did not have this kind of amount. The movers told me that if I do not have this money they going to unload all my staff and would leave it right there on the curb. I called the office again; there was no solution. Then, one of the company’s manager called me on the phone and started to yell at me. He was using inappropriate language and even used the “F” word. Then, he asked me how much I can pay, and I told him how much money I had at that moment. I added that the final amount greatly exceeded the quote. He agreed to my amount and said that my staff will be delivered to my new address. I believed his word.
Then, something totally weird happened, the guys got inside the truck and drove away with all my staff. I felt that my staff simply was stolen. I called the company back, and of course, the manager was very rude to me again and did not want to listen. I even called the police. Eventually, they called me back and negotiate the price, and it was still very expensive. They took advantage that I did not have any choices, since everything, EVERYTHING was in that track. My 6 years old son started to cry and could not stop.
Besides, I’m temporarily handicapped I cannot drive the car. They told me if I want my staff back I have to bring them a cash in one hour. They did not care If I could drive the car or not.
Long story short, my staff was eventually delivered. They still made me pay them a lot of money. When I checked my staff in the garage two lamps were broken, and some staff was not possible to find.
It was one of the worst experiences in my life!
