Interstate move from santa Fe NM to Boston MA

Let me begin by saying this company is a scam. It all started off with an estimate of $2600. 3 days before pickup, Ross calls me and corners me by saying I need a bigger truck and the price went up to $3600. Now this was of course a situation where 3 days in advance I would never have found anything else. I was forced to agree by signing another estimate. These estimates by the way are purposely misleading-- I was told that they never go down since you agree to a bigger truck. When I tried to get this in writing, my request was ignored.

It has been almost a month since my furniture was packed and still, I do not even have a guess as to where the trucks are. Explanation was that "I will do my best to send you daily updates on your delivery if i have one since technically we are not the ones in possession of your items, the carrier is." Which translates to the company being irresponsible and not knowing where my shipment is, which legally they are supposed to since I am entitled to have this information.

Back to the pickup: the pickup showed up one day late, making me change all my work plans. When they finally arrived, i got a new estimate of $4600 out of nowhere that I was forced to sign again, because otherwise they would not take my shipment. I was rudely told that I could have used a UHAUL and done it myself, which I find disgraceful considering my disability.

Now, almost a month later the furniture is nowhere in sight and my delivery date disrespected. The company takes all the responsibility off their shoulders by stating that this was the first possible day for delivery and documentation on when the items should be delivered is deliberately missing.

To avoid an experience such as mine, I recommend you never use this company! They are terrible at communicating with the customer and outright lie and force you pay more for literally everything.

If I could give negative stars I would.
